Grilled Pizza Dough

Our favorite way

1. Prep toppings while dough warms to room temperature

2. Stretch dough & brush with olive oil.

3. Drape dough onto 350 ̊ grill. Cook, closed, for about 2 min/per side, until golden.  Top second side. Be watchful: It blackens EASILY!

-Our Own Roasted Veggies with your favorite cheese

-Heirloom tomatoes, pesto & Maplebrook mozzarella

-Grilled peaches, blue cheese & strawberry balsamic jam

-Mac’s burger with mozzarella & roasted tomatoes

-Garfield’s bacon with apples & cheddar

-Butternut squash & sage

 

Calzones

  1. Roll out dough & load with half of desired toppings

  2. Fold over & seal edges

  3. Bake on greased or cornmeal floured pan at 375’F for 20-25 minutes, or till internal temperature of 165’F & dough cooked through.

Stromboli

  1. Roll out dough.

  2. Sprinkle pizza toppings lightly all over, leaving about 2”on edge.

  3. Roll up & seal edges by pressing down.

  4. Bake on greased or lined pan at 375’ F for 20-25 minutes, or till internal temperature of 165’F & dough cooked through.


Bread Stick Twists

lovely as an app with soup or as a sweet dessert item

1. Roll out dough

2. Lightly brush dough with oil or butter.

3. Sprinkle sweet/savory herbs or spices

4. Cut into thin strips & twist.

5. Bake on greased or lined pan at 400’ for 15-20 minutes.
